Passage summaryResumen del pasaje

The *Daily Worker* reported on proceedings at the Pan-American Federation of Labor convention, where the Dominican delegate had his delegation's name removed from a resolution critical of governments. The article described the Dominican Confederation of Labor as a fictitious body led by intellectuals from the "Nationalist Brotherhood" rather than a genuine workers' organization. It similarly denounced the Cuban delegation as unrepresentative agents of that country's dictatorship.
