Passage summaryResumen del pasaje

The New Hampshire Farmer and Weekly Union reported on President Taft's defense of the Dominican customs convention after nearly five years of successful operation. Taft underscored that safeguarding customs revenue deprived revolutionists of funding, brought unprecedented revenues to the Dominican treasury, and curtailed U.S. naval spending. He advocated extending this administrative framework to Honduras and Nicaragua to foster stability and economic growth.
