SummaryResumen

The New-York Tribune reported on Major McIntyre's inspection of the Dominican customs receivership for the U.S. Bureau of Insular Affairs, noting steadily increasing revenues despite economic downturns. Under Receiver W. E. Pulliam, the receivership paid $100,000 monthly to the Morton Trust Company in New York while transferring the remainder to the Dominican government. McIntyre reported that nearly $5,000,000 had been deposited since 1905, with approximately $2,000,000 already distributed from the sinking fund to settle creditor claims.
