SummaryResumen

Young Trujillo was shot and killed on Saturday night near Bunnell, Florida, after he and his companion Louis Henry Todd were refused service at a cafe because they were thought to be American Negroes and argued that they should be served. Deputy Sheriff Tetter testified at the inquest that Trujillo, seated in his car, drew a pistol and was shot through the chest when he refused to put it away; the dead youth, generally called Trujillo but named Seijas, was the adopted son of Anibal Trujillo, brother of President Trujillo, and was on terminal leave from the United States Army on his way home.
