SummaryResumen

The Evening Star reported that the United States concluded a ten-year bilateral pact with the Dominican Republic authorizing guided missile monitoring stations to close the observation gap between the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. Under the agreement, unarmed test missiles launched from Florida would fly over Dominican coastal waters rather than over the mainland. U.S. military personnel operating the tracking sites were capped at 300 individuals, expandable up to 500 under exceptional circumstances.
