SummaryResumen

A dispatch from Santo Domingo dated September 9 reports fresh trouble for the republic: owing to the Dominican government's alleged violation of the law governing foreign landholders, the French government has decided to postpone delivery of an exequatur to the new Dominican consul at Havre. Other very strong measures, it says, will be adopted by France if the Dominican government maintains its present attitude.
