SummaryResumen

The Evening Star reported that stateless traveler Michael Patrick O'Brien arrived in Ciudad Trujillo after receiving an invitation of resettlement from the Dominican government. O'Brien had spent nearly two years wandering the globe, including ten months confined to a ferry shuttling between Hong Kong and Macao when both ports denied him entry. Although O'Brien claimed American birth and citizenship following imprisonment in Oregon, U.S. immigration authorities disputed his status.
