SummaryResumen

The Evening Star reported that Dominican border custom houses had been reopened, potentially eliminating the need for American marines to land and establish patrols. The Haitian government sought assurances from Washington that its territorial rights would be protected under the provisional boundary established by the United States. Haitian officials also inquired whether American intervention would conclude once customs operations were fully restored.
