Colombia* Time Is Up.

London, April 19.—The Italian gov

give Colombia any further time in

Mr. Cleveland's award, and has ordered

the Atlantic squadron to proceed im

mediately to Cartagena, "to bxing the

Colombians to their senses."

Rajah's Ninth Victim.

Kansas City, April 11.—"Rajah," a

mammmoth elephant owned by Lemen

Bros.' circw company, which has been

wintering in Argentine, Kan., near

here, today killed its keeper, Frank

Fisher. Fisber had returned to the

tent intoxicated, and tried to make the

elephant perform. Becoming enraged,

Rajah threw Fisher and knelt upon

him, crashing his life oat before assist

ance could arrive. He aaid to be

Rajah's ninth victim.
