SummaryResumen

The New-York Tribune reported the terms of the Dominican 50-year 5 percent bond issue, which was restricted from selling below 96, with American Receiver W. E. Pulliam remitting $100,000 monthly to the fiscal agent. Surplus customs revenues exceeding $3,000,000 annually were designated to be divided equally with the debt sinking fund. The paper also noted reports from Haiti that insurgent leader General Jean Jumeau was alive and preparing an insurrection against President Nord Alexis.
