SummaryResumen

The Daily Alaska Empire reported that Dominican Consul General Julio Ricart challenged Argentine Ambassador Juan-Carlos Rodriguez to a duel in Ottawa over perceived personal insults. Ricart suggested staging the encounter within the Argentine Embassy after an exchange with the ambassador's wife regarding a Humane Society investigation into dog abuse at the embassy. Rodriguez stated he would address his reply directly to the Dominican capital of Ciudad Trujillo.
