“We retuse to obey this dictator

who is not of our people any longer.

All officials from the president down,

even judges, are nominated and put in

office by the executive power, which

is the high commissioner. President

Borno is only a puppet in the hands

instead of permitting a popular elec

supported the claims ot his compatri

that if the Haitians could not elect

their own president, they would not

hesitate to shed their blood in pro

of state they would not hesitate to

offer their breasts to the guns, with

the responsibility resting on the Unit
